Maples

Denuded of their bark, the old maple sections now repose in the shade, while the hewer hones his broad axe ... :-)

Denuded of their bark, the old maple sections now repose in the shade, while the hewer hones his broad axe ... :-) What the heck? I think the only innocent word here is "the."
Every dang word is just begging for a comment. Which I'll happily do, then wait for you to not approve this one.
Denuded - That's the Dutch accented way of saying "the nude."
Bark - That is totally you. You don't bite, but you definitely have a low growl. You know - the one that clearly says to people who approach you too closely, "you can look, but don't touch my old maple sections."
By the way, isn't maple a hardwood?
If you are the hewer honing his broad axe, why the hell are you wasting all that pent-up energy on a reposing tree? Have a beer and go hone some hotties!
